The IT Team Who Built Us a Website!
In mid-2025, Boroondara Council offered BHRR the chance to partner with students from Swinburne University’s IT Diploma course to develop a website — something that had long been on our wish list and arrived at exactly the right time.
We were also thrilled to strengthen our connection with Swinburne, having already built strong links with the International Student Advisory and Support Office.

As part of their studies, the IT Diploma students were tasked with creating a website for a local community group. As co-founders, we had ideas about what we hoped the site could become, and the student team brought their own thoughtful concepts and suggestions. They listened closely to our brief, were patient and respectful throughout, and embraced our vision for BHRR. They truly understood how a website could complement the Facebook BHRR Rehomie community.
The result of their dedication is this fabulous website. We couldn’t have done it without them. Thank you!
